Heena Shyamani, MD, is a primary care physician that specializes in internal medicine services at Shah Medical Center in Elgin, Illinois. Earning her medical degree from Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College (GSMC) in Mumbai, India, Dr. Shyamani went on to complete a rotatory internship at King Edwards Memorial Hospital, also in Mumbai. She completed her residency in internal medicine there and at the Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Shyamani served as a clinical research associate in the endocrine metabolic division within the Chicago Medical School’s Department of Internal Medicine. She published her research on beta cell function in elderly diabetic subjects through the Chicago Medical School and the Department of Medicine at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in North Chicago, Illinois.
